we won't be living together until after we get back from the HM (im sure we will bring in clothes, furnish apt, etc before we leave, but we aren't officially moving in together until we get back).....
Would you come back on Thursday or Friday? I have a wedding on Sunday, so I don't know if we should come back Thursday night, unpack, take friday and sat to get settled in, visit parents, etc.....or just come back friday night.....do everything Saturday, go to the wedding on Sunday and then go back to work on MOnday???
$$$$ really isn't that big a diffference, so im not really taking that into consideration.

It depends.. are you going straight to work that Monday? If so then I'd come back a day earlier.
Don't worry about the wedding though. My HM flight arrives in JFK at 2pm Friday and JennaandJohn's cocktail hour starts at 7pm which I WILL be at! lol

not so much for the wedding, bc im def gonna go, but its more for the fact of getting situated and getting the apt ready??

Personally - I would come back on the earlier day. I'm still unpacking boxes - we moved on Easter Sunday.

You won't be any more situated with a additional day - any way you look at it, unpacking is a PITA. I would go for the extra day of HM

thats kind of what im afraid of. I feel like coming back on Friday means we will sleep in Saturday, rush over to see parents, attempt I guess to unpack? then go to the wedding on sunday (WHICH I AM NOTTTTTTTTTTT GOING TO MISS 1 MINUTE OF)......

ITA! Take it from someone who moved once a year for 5 years (and has a lot of stuff!)... it will take weeks to get situated, not one or two days. So enjoy the HM!

go for an extra day!!!! its ur honeymoon make it as long as u can. it takes forever to get settled. fh and i closed on a house in december and even though we rnt going to live together until after july it is taking forever to make it feel cozy

where are you going on your honeymoon? if its a big difference in time change, id come back early and just relax and enjoy it and de-stress. you don't want to be tired for the wedding and then still tired for work on Monday.
