So I have been thinking about this since last night. Yesterday I was at work. The company I work for has a cleaning company that comes in every day. For the past year or so they have been making complaints about the level of cleaning the guys are doing to the company. So now they send us the worst of the worst. So last night I was working and there was yet another new cleaning guy. He was walking around completely inappropriately dressed with his i-pod on singing at the top of his lungs. It was so bad and we all got quite a laugh out of it but we knew he must be a little crazy. So later in the night an elderly Asian woman was waiting to use the restroom when I passed by. Her daughter stopped me and asked if her mother could use the restroom because it was an emergency and the guy has been in there cleaning forever. I said I would find out. So I knocked on the bathroom door and said excuse me, to which he ripped out his headphones and yelled what at me. I asked him politely if it would be Ok for this woman to use the bathroom for a second. He yelled to me 'There's **** everywhere in here...I don't know if you would use it or not but it's nasty'. The woman was standing right there. So I said...If it's that bad I probably wouldn't use it...so he said to take a look so I did. There was some paper on the floor but that was it...I have seen much worse. So he brushes by me and the poor woman looks at me with this desperate look on her face and I said go ahead. He got so mad. Long story short he started to get loud with me. I walked into the office, which he followed me, and called my manager and told her she had to come back there. Before she could get to the office he began yelling at me. This continued for at least 15 minutes both before and during the time she was there. I was so angry and showed complete self control and told him that I will not even discuss this with him. To shorten the story a bit my manager talked to him in private and then later me. She told me to just avoid him. I am so furious. I should not have to deal with someone like that or feel uncomfortable at my job. I was so nervous I had someone walk me to my car. WWYD...I could go above my managers head to her manager and explain that I can not work in this environment or just let it go? I will be off for most of the month? If you read all of this I owe you a cookie! TIA

I agree I would wait it out. Since this is your wedding month I wouldn't worry about it especially since you said they change peope alot he may not be around too much longer either.

I'd speak to your manager again. Just say that you feel very uncomfortable around this guy. Tell her (or him) to contact the cleaning agency and let them know that this guy not only cursed at you and followed you around, but he attempted to belittle you in front of a customer. That is very unprofessional.

I agree with everyone else....wait it out. Maybe this wacko won't last the month there and will be gone when you return from HM.
I am not on a diet to see cookie I want to eat them.

I know how much ur situation must suck, but for the sake of ur future at this place, keep it to urself. That's my advice. No boss likes when u go over them.

Good point but I plan on quitting very soon. I'm starting to look in September.
