Torn for our honeymoon!! Heard lots if great things about both. MGM comes in slightly cheaper. Encore is newer but heard MGM was just renovated. Any thoughts or recommendations???
I would check out travel review sites. But if they are comparable, I'd go with the cheaper one.
I've heard so many great things about Encore but I do know that it's pricey. Think about what's important to you - there is SO MUCH to do in Vegas, it may be worth putting that extra money for the room into a nice dinner for you and FH or a show. It's not like you're not going to get a nice room at MGM!

Never been to Encore, but I stayed in MGM for a week and a half in 2008, and I LOVED it. Check out Revolution bar, it's a Beatles themed bar. I'd totally recommend it!!

Last time I went I stayed at the MGM Signature which is their newer building (vs the MGM Grand) and it was great! Service was great and so was the food! I heard Encore is amazing too but never stayed there..Good luck!! Either one will be a great pick!!
