x-post (2010) BM dress HELP!

ok ladies, I need opinions. I have a few BM dresses I like, they are all similar, so the deciding factor will most likely be the cost.
WHEN should I have my BMs order their dresses? I have a lot of situations going on right now:

MOH- just wants to get it done with

BM1 (my sil)- is on ww and refuses to do anything until she loses more weight

BM2 (fh's sil)- is preggo and is due the end of May

BM3 (fh's sil)- can't wait to try on and order

BM4 (friend)- just lost her father, and is now losing his house... so she has a lot going on right now.

so could I wait until june/july? or should I have them try them on now and order now? I'm either ordering from Impressions, Davids Bridal, Bill Levkoff, Alfred Angelo or B2... how long do they take on average?

thanks girls. I really think I want to wait, given all the situations, but my mother and MOH keep telling me to do it now.

I'd have them order by the end of May, first week in June.

I will find out how long the dress will take to get in. It's slightly diff for all designers. Work backwards from there and give yourself ~a month + extra for alterations and such.

Use the extra time to find the cheapest price!

No.. lol I don't think you can wait till June or July.

I'm getting married 2-3 weeks before you and my orders have to be by the end of this month the LATEST!!!!!

So i'd say the mid-end of April for you.

I'm getting married in July and we had ours ordered by mid-January...and for me that felt like we were really cutting it too close. As it is, they are supposed to come in May and it makes me really nervous that if something is wrong with them its going to be a time crunch to fix it.

My best friend's wedding is the same date as yours and we're going on April 10th to order gowns and get measured. IMHO even that's cutting it close. But that's totally up to you. I'm just crazy anal about things like that.
