x-post 2010; church girls- what are/did you have thrown?

FH had said a while back that he wanted to do ribbon.. I wanted a butterfly release.

we're not allowed to throw ANYTHING. no rice, seed, petals, sopressata ( ), poppers.. nothing.

and I don't like the bubble idea.

so I agreed to do the ribbon.. and now he doesn't think he wants to do that.

SOOOOO.. any other ideas?

They really aren't leaving you with many choices, huh? We did streamers and loved loved loved them but since you can't throw anything, how 'bout having the guests ring little bells when you come out. I went to a wedding where they did that and it was really cute.

Please don't do the butterfly release... I heard that they all die before they can get released anyway

How about sparklers? Like the ones from the 4th of July...

We are not allowed to throw anything either, so I am giving in and just doing bubbles which I really didnt want. The sparklers sound like a cool idea- not sure how you get them all lit at the same time.
