X-Post- BC Question- Probably TMI

haha sorry, but I need advise.

I'm on Lo-Ovral (monophasic) bc and need to skip my period next month (going to disney world that week--good job FH )!

I have never done this before and I am wondering which would be better:

skip the last week of pills this month and get my period right before we go on vacation (will be finishing it up the first few days we are there)

or

Skip the last week next month while we are on vacation

I'm really worried about spotting, side effects, etc.

Does anyone have any advise or suggestions? Any input would be appreicated!

This. I'm actually going to do that this month too. I think there's a lot less of a chance of you spotting when you've already HAD your pd. PLUS, you always feel thinner after your pd (at least I do, it's great LOL)

I've done it before, manipulated my BCP so that I get my pd earlier and i do fine with it. I try not to make a habit of it, but when I have to, I do.

Skip the last week of pills. You'll be fine. I do this all the time (at my MD's request).

I would skip the placebo pills and go immediately to the next pack. I do this all the time with no problems...I'll probably end up doing this for the wedding or on the honeymoon.
