X-Post: Besides Preservation - what to do with dress?
I don't want to keep the entire wedding dress (I just don't have space), but I want to make something out of it for memories sake. Any ideas?
Someone told me to make a pillow, etc, but I'm not really crafty...

pillow, blanket, you can use the fabric to reappolstered a chest or something meaningful (i may do this with the left overs after a christening gown).

both ideas sound awesome. I don't have the skill to make a pillow or blanket do you know anyone I can bring it to?

find a dress maker or someone who turns wedding gowns to christening gowns - i don't have a number but my sister in law does they will be able to do a pillow or blanket.
