X Post BHB: Candy Bar/Buffet?

so i'm thinking of doing one now b/c i feel this will be my one regret.

I'm clueless. I can get the glass jars no problem but where should i look into the candy (no chocolate).

I have a minimum of 125 so how much do i buy? what about containers?

what am i looking at pricewise to be spending?

thanks chicas

I am getting ours from Candywarehouse.com........I have no idea how much to buy - haven't thought about that yet!!!

sour peach rings!!!

i'd find the containers you want to give your guests. fill one up at a bulk candy place and weigh it. that's how much you need per person... plus a little extra.

i had one for my eparty last june and it was a big hit! i got all the candy online (used some coupon codes from retailmenot.com too!). all my candy was pink or green (wedding colors). hmmmm i had gummy bears, salt water taffy, rock candy crystals, starbursts (pink only), ummm sour patch watermelons.......and i used chinese take out containers from papermart.com (pint size. the site had the best price i could find)...made some labels online....

for about 70 people i spent about $130....i had a good amount left over tho.........hth!!
