X- Post: Brief Review: Fox Hollow- WGP, Designs by Rose, Thomas Paul, Elegancia, Wild Rose, Elite Affairs, Vintage String, All Dolled Up, Elegant Appearance....
Ladies, I want to share a quick mini review. I am awaiting my professional pictures before posting my longer Brides Review.
My new husband and I are SO grateful to have been surrounded by such amazing people on our wedding- all of our vendors did an EXTRAORDINARY job and most importantly, were a pleasure to be around and gave their all to make our wedding day the most beautiful day of our lives.
Fox Hollow
There have been a few posts recently regarding girls concerned about the layout of the Fox Hollow's Wintergarden Pavilion. I can say that I had these same concerns...even up to the week of the wedding. I drove poor DH to near insanity. I remember even saying that I thought we had made a mistake. Well....I've never been more happy to be proven wrong. Our room with the vines draping down and STELLAR uplighting that Elegancia Entertainment set up and the tall orchid centerpieces and 24 inch tapers, the fire place, the waterfall.....it was ENCHANTED. We heard that word from a number of people. That it was truly as though they stepped into an enchanted forest. The room was spectacular. Anyone considering a wedding for 130 people should definitely consider the Fox Hollow. The service, the food...everything was better than I could have EVER dreamed. I didn't cry at all during my wedding- ceremony, first dance...I was SO happy and beaming the entire time. I did cry when Rose presented me with my bouquet. It was exquisite. Everything they touch is a work of art. God Bless these women, I am SO grateful to have had the pleasure of working with them.
Thomas Paul
I've written a few times that we lost our deposit with another vendor when we switched to Thomas Paul. As Tom was booked for our day, we worked with Brian and Tony. I could not ask for anything more. These men have SUCH an eye and will not stop until they get it right. Brian was with me from the moment I was getting my make up applied. Tony was with my Husband and his groomsmen. Brian showed me a bunch of pictures on his camera. I trusted him completely. COMPLETELY. I think there were a few photos that weren't taken but I can't stress it....there were photos that they took that I could have never thought of. I am awaiting the final product but I can attest to the fact that these men worked HARD and were delightful the whole time. Best of all....Tom stopped in to check on us and make sure everything was ok. That's service. These guys are spectacular.
Elegancia
Wow. I can't think of the right adjective....nothing seems good enough. Their professionalism, talent, attention to detail. I will NEVER think of a DJ the same again. Or....I should say, Elegancia is MORE than 'just' a DJ. Jose is an AMAZING MC, elegant, refined and yet the party was bumping all night. Their lighting is in a class of its own. Everyone complemented our music and lighting. I will write more about them in my long review. Phenomenal
Wild Rose
Haven't see the video yet but they are GREAT guys!!! Check them out ladies, I felt SO comfortable and I never felt the camera 'in my face'...did they even use a light? I didn't notice. They were perfect.
Elite Affairs
Lisa. What would I have done without Lisa? She was a pleasure when she met my bridal party and I at the Fox Hollow but then something happened on her way from the hotel we were at to the ceremony, she arrived late due to a car accident. BUT- I can say that you truly see the character of a person in a situation like this. Lisa was grace under fire. She contacted my sister (MOH) right away to alert her. My sister managed to discretely tell the Limo drivers to exit at the exit before the scene of the accident so that I wouldn't see it. A friend of mine who was already at the ceremony drove to the accident scene to collect all of our items from Lisa which we needed for the ceremony. I would have never known. Lisa arrived in time for me to enter the church and carried on as if nothing ever happened. That's professionalism, that's character and that's strength. I am eternally grateful for everything Lisa did for us- she took a HUGE weight off our shoulders and we were able to really take in our wedding because of her relentless effort.
Vintage String Quartet
Magic. Pure Magic! Our ceremony was divine because of them and I hear that they received a standing ovation when they played Sweet Child of Mine at cocktail hour. Friends of ours who love hip hop came up to us to thank us for introducing them to such beautiful music. As I was told they 'Brought the house down!'
All Dolled Up and Elegant Appearance
PLEASE- PLEASE consider these two vendors for hair and make up. Everyone looked AMAZING. They took care of my entire bridal party and my girls looked spectacular. Ciara airbrushed me and my make up lasted ALL night- through my dancing and all! My hair....Giovana from Elegant appearance subtlety convinced me to go with an updo and I was SO happy I did. My hair was intact and gorgeous all night. I can't wait to post photos.
Royalty
Perfection. We had a Rolls, Escalade and 2 stretch Lincolns. Clean. Early. Wonderful Drivers.
