X-Post Bustles

Hi Ladies!

I am going for my first fitting next weekend and I don't know what type of bustle to ask for.

Can you please post pics of your bustles and they types that they are?

TIA

I had a double french bustle~there were 4 rows of ribbons, row 1 and 2 tied together and row 3 and 4 tied together. It was double b/c my train was ridiculously long.

If your train is on the shorter side (chapel length or shorter) you can do a french which would be the same but without one of the lifts.

Or and over bustle, which they would put a loop or button on the outside of your dress and take it and bring it up on the outside of your dress

The bustle depends on the dress. The underbustle looks completely right in the post above, but my dress needed a regular bustle. Mine is 4 points and I did it with fishing line. Held all night. I don't have a pic where I'm standing still (which I guess is a good thing).
