its so true. I checked bc i was at the bank and my balance was less than it was just a few days ago and i havent used my debit card at all or used it for anything period so i knew something was up. I came right home to check my statement online and saw all this.

Some girls on 08 board said it was on the news too

OMG! thats terrible ... are they going to give your money back? If you tell the bank you didnt authorize these charges, they will put your account under investigation. They will probably open a new account and you wont have to pay those charges ...

the only site that is authorized by the govt for a free credit report is here:

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/edcams/freereports/index.html

the compay that is supposed to give you up to 3 free reports a year is Annual Credit Report. they are authorized and its free

Yeah, that *****. You have to be really careful when you hear the words 'free'. If you listen closely to the commercial, at the end (after the silly song is over) it says something like 'offer requires billing enrollment' or something like that, which means you have to sign up for something.

Something liek that happened to me a few months ago. It came up as WC something?? Charge $16.95 per month. Except I never signed up for any 'free credit report' or anything, maybe they got it from a website I bought something from??

I called up and 'Jose' said that I signed up for it. Um, not I did not!! Then he took me off their list and almost hung up on me without reversing the charges!! Oh I was livid. Keep an eye out on your statements girls! There's crap like that everywhere! I have no idea where they got my CC # from.

yeah no you do pay if you sign up with them but I ONLY signed up with them ya know. SO if they were the only ones charging me then it would be fine but theres like 4-5 other companies ive never signed up with that are also charging me. I am mad that they sign me up with these other companies and on top of the $30 fee that they charged me which that one is fine, i have other companies charging me the same.

Call ur credit card customer service line ASAP, tell them you never signed up for these reports and they must have stolen ur CC# online from a website, they will take them off ur bill, close that account # and reissue you a new CC with a new #. Don't pay these charges, that is such BS that they did this to you. I hope you get it straightened out.

it was my bank account actually but yeah ill contact my bank. I am annoyed with them right now though after dealing with them today lol but ill do it tomorrow. Problem is that since it was my bank account, the money has already been withdrawn, so i would have to get a refund from the company itself
