How many pounds did you get? I'm doing the traditional italian route and using 5 almonds per bag. So i'm making about 85 bags. How many pounds do you think i would need?

it's really hard to tell - each bag has a different number
they sell them at michaels and you can use coupons. just dont buy too much because im not sure you can return them there

i got a 10lb box of them to make 150 favors and i had a bunch left over. i probably needed about 6-7 pounds.
i *think* i put about 6 almonds per bag, but i might be wrong on that.

I bought 3 bags that were each twoppounds at Michaels. I used coupons - thank God! I had to make about 75 favors and I still had some left over in my 3rd bag. I also put 5 almonds in each bag.
