So I've been contemplating how first looks make things easier....even though I really don't want to do it. And I think it would actually end up costing us more money in limo's.
Currently we have 1 limo for 3 hrs that will pick up the GM at our apt in queens...take them to the hall...then pick up the girls and take up to the hall.
Now if you have a first look and do pics somewhere (especially if your ceremony is at your RH) how did you transport everyone to the pic location and to the hall? How many limos did you get and for how long?

What we did was got a regular town car for the guys to be picked up and dropped off at the photo location ( just a pickup and drop off) then we got an SUV to pick the girls up at my house and then once pics were over drop the whole BP off at the RH. it worked out really well and the first look was perfect!

Interesting....Dont know if an SUV would be cheaper or 2 10 passenger cars.
Were your parents going in the limo's as well?

It all depends on how big your BP is. We were a total of 14 people including DH and I so we needed the SUV to fit us all in.
We didnt have our parents with us when we took our pics at OWG. The way we timed everything was us and the BP took our pics at the gardens, then when we got to CLM we did our family photos. We wound up getting 95% of our photos done before the ceremony.
