x-post - girls, did you preserve/dry clean your dress?

i called lilettes today and they told me $200....no small change... I just don't know if it's worth it. I'd love to hear your opinions either way??

dry cleaned it for 75 bucks, then space bagged it.

it will be coming out of the space bag when i have our first child...my mom will make its christening gown from my dress, so i didnt want to go crazy getting it preserved.

i am usually so practical with this stuff but now seeing it with the bottom all dirty hanging in our spare room I'm like sad and I feel like I should do it. Sentimental nerd I am :)

I washed my dress in the washing machine and dryed it in a dryer and then I put it in a space bag as well. There was no damage to the dress at all. I plan on having an anniversary trash the dress next september so it will be used for that then washed again and then used for a blanket and some other baby stuff. I do not plan saving it.

I dont think it will...but if it does then a steam iron will hopefully do the trick, I hope!!!
