X POST.. HOTEL BLOCK

has anyone heard of the hotel charging to give out/put oot bags in the rooms???

I just got my contract from the hotel and they want to charge me $3.00 per oot bag.

I think thats crazy!

Am i just new at this?? Do all the hotels charge this???

I've never heard of that! I should call my hotel and ask if they do that. Sorry you're getting charged for something like that!

I have never heard of something like that, our hotel said they would be more than happy to put OOT bags in the rooms for us at no charge.

I hadn't heard of this, but you could leave the bags at the front desk, and have them handed out at check in, if it's an issue. They shouldn't charge for this . . . .

I've heard of this, but i don't think it's common! Many of the hotels will do it for free as long as you don't make specific boxes with names on them. I think they will all charge extra to hand out personalized ones.

What hotel? Never head of this but I haven't gotten my contract yet. I think I asked them but I will have to double check that when I get the contract tomorrow.

Its the Crowne Plaza in Holtsville, used to be Raddison on N. Ocean Ave.

I think its crazy... I'm waiting for a response from the Sales Manager...

I guess I could always use the Hampton Inn across the street, but the Crowne is going to be like new. They are renovating all the rooms in April.

thats crazy have someone in the family do it before they get there or a friend I wouldnt pay extra its not like your getting anything from them and the labor that they are providing is def not equal to $3 per bag thats crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Im going to try and get them to waive the fee....

I just dont see how even if I could get someone to do it for me, how would they get into everyones rooms???

I have heard of them charging to put them in the rooms but not giving them out. I am having them give the bags out upon check in, That way is free.

That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard of. Talk about trying to get more $ from you because it's a wedding-related event. I would refuse to pay such a fee.

I have never heard of this...the only thing I can think of is that they put together the OOT bag for you??? They use their stuff so you don't have to worry about it??...you know what I mean??
