...Photographers did you girls look at before you knew you had found the 'one'? FH and I met with 2 photographers over the weekend and we really think one of them could be the 'one'. We love their style and really connected with them. FH says we should book so we don't lose the date, and part wants to as well. BUT the other part of me thinks we should still look at a few others, just in case we find something better. The only thing is that we would have to put this off till August when we will be back on LI again. I just don't know what to do...

Why do you have to put it off? All photographers have websites, so you're able to see their work even though you're not here. You can have a phone 'meeting' and get a sense of personality.
Shop around a little by doing the above and see if anyone grabs your attention

Ive been researching photographers for a couple of weeks and we only made appointments with two different places. We are going to book with the photographer we met with today!

I think we only saw two photographers before we booked. I wouldn't wait to book because someone else might book your date. I have heard of this happening to other girls.

I did a lot of online research - looking at websites and through albums etc. Once I did that I made an appointment with one photographer that I LOVED and was in our price range. Once we met and both FH and I loved them we booked on the spot. As I am seeing more of their work and reviews I am NOT AT ALL disappointed that I did this!

We looked at Duet 1st and Thomas Paul 2nd, we went with Thomas Paul. We booked him the next day, got a much more personal experience.

While I was researching photographers, I would look at pics that girls had on this website and look at who they had.... every time I fell in love with a picture, it was the same photographer. So, I finally met with him and since his pricing was good (certainly WAY better than expected..), we just had to book him.
