X POST: Ideas for gift....

Hi Ladies

I need your fabulous ideas that you usually come up with!!!

My DH's bff and best man just eloped with his fiancee to get married. We want to send them something as a congratulations (they're having a reception over the summer), but I don't know what. I was thinking a wine basket, but only she likes wine...he likes beer.

Any and all suggestions welcomed!!!

Arranged fruit platters are healthy, tasty, won't make you choose between wine and beer, and if large enough, can last the couple for several days.

Where did they elope to? If they went to a resort, how about pay for an excursion or send champagne with strawberries to their room??

Thanks for ideas ladies...we actually decided to get them a Channa plaque in neutral colors since they haven't decided on paint colors for their house.
