X-Post: Meatloaf Recipe?? NWR

Mine is a turkey meatloaf but you can use beef too.

Just made it last night.

Im italian so I don't using measuring cups!! Sorry!!

1 egg
breadcrumbs..but just enough to hold everything together
Lots of onions
one garlic clove.
Westishire sauce!!!!! makes it great!!!
Grated cheese
a pinch of nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste.

put in over at 375 for 40 mins.. sprinkle some cheese on top if you wish.

Ooh I would love to make it with turkey. Its probably much healthier but DH would probably cry if I didnt use beef lol. Thank you!

I use one egg

I dont use a measuring cup either! Italian Thing!

Put a good amount of
Salt, pepper, garlic, bread crumbs, parmesean cheese, and a good amount of Honey BBq sauce.

In bottom of pan cover bottom with a little water. just enough to cover it. This will keep the meatloaf from drying out, leaving it to melt in your mouth.

Put in oven 375 for 45 minutes.

10 minutes before its done pour honey BBQ over the top and out back in oven.

Sooooo Yummy!

heres my favorite
its pretty much just a concoction no measurements sorry i do things by eye most of the time.
-also just a tip.. use your hands to mix! it works so much easier!

i use the meatloaf chop meat (mixture of beef veal and turkey comes pre packaged just cuz it gives a good flavor. or just use beef whatever you like. bread crumbs i would say like a cup per pound. (play it by ear with them i put in half mix it up if its still too wet i put in some more if its perfect i leave it be) Add one egg. salt,pepper to taste (i hate pepper only use salt.) i also add some parmigiana cheese about a table spoon i also put in onion powder, and garlic powder put sprinkle a little bit. some italian seasoning if you have it.. just a little bit it can be strong. and for the special ingrediant which helps it not dry out and give it a yummy taste.. KETCHUP! just eyeball it.. i guess about a tablespoon. if you love ketchup you can add more. if you hate it just a little. it tastes supper yummy.. i also cook mine in the microwave i like it better that way.

i usually put it in a corningware i cut up some potatos and put it around it onions if you like them also.

Cook for about 20 min.. make a cut and just be sure its cook all the way.. if not add by 5 min.

Also if you and you DH like broccoli and cheese.. i love to flatten out the loaf and put broccoli and cheese in the middle then roll it back up and cook it the same!! SOOO YUMMY!!

some chopped bread and butter pickles (to you liking)

some chopped sweet onion

1 cup chedder cheese

1/2 cup ketcup

2/3 cup white bread (or plain bread crumb)

2 eggs

Mix all together, shape into a loaf, top with more chedder (b/c chedder makes it better)

Bake 350 for about 45 minutes depending on how thick it is might need 5-10 min more or less

also this make the best left over dinner a day or two later on some rolls

DON'T TELL HIM..HE'D NEVER KNOW..TRUSH ME.. MY FH LOVES IT.!!

Let me see if I can remember off the top of my head....

1.5 lbs. ground beef

1 egg

1 cup 1 water

Breadcrumbs - I eyeball the amount

1/4 cup ketchup

1/4 cup BBQ sauce

about 1/2 to 3/4 of a packet of dry lipton onion soup mix

Salt, pepper and onion powder to taste

ETA: I also layer it with shredded cheese and cheese on top!

i use chop meat

bread crumbs
bbq sauce
1 egg
1/2 package of onion soup mix
salt pepper

mold it all together!


eta: sometimes when i feel like being fat I put 2 bacon strips on the top!
