I had to upload them into the album-- not something I wanted in my album but I'm terrible at posting pics-- they never work.

I posted these for one reason: To allow this be a reminder to us all... maybe this will help us cherish every moment we have on this earth and especially while we are here drive safe, be careful... get off the cell phone if you are on it, pull over and talk b/c it's not worth it, drive slower if you drive fast, leave ten minutes earlier each day so you can take your time, etc.... try to always be aware of your surroundings also b/c there are so many idiots on the road it's not even funny-- and most of the time no one else is paying attention and all it takes is one little 'bump' from another car-- b/c that's what sent Vinny into trees and caused him to lose all control.

oh my goodness.....I cannot believe how badly damaged the car is......How is Vinny doing? Did he come home from the hospital? It really does hit me that we should definitely cherish every second we have with all our loved ones....

I hope you, your family and Vinny's family is alright..... My prayers are with you and Vinny during this difficult time. I pray that he gets a speedy recovery....

OMG! I can't believe those pictures. Thank god VInny is ok! I drove past the collision place today (b/c I went to Stop and Shop) and saw that car but didn't realize it was Vinny's. Wow! Thank god he is ok! Hang in there and keep your head up high!

Thanks so much-- I just hope this helps someone who sees it and they drive differently. You never know, 10 MPH could mean the difference between life and death. It is amazing-- but he is doing much better. He was walking a little more today than he was yesterday so he is improving little by little.

The thing that really helped him besides the fact that he was doing about 60... was the side air bags. They helped cushion him so his head went into them instead of the window and door.

You are right. Maybe someone will change their behavior after seeing the pictures. I am glad he is doing better. I am sure everyday will get better and better for him.

OMG!!

Thank god he was in the driver's seat and didn't have any passengers! Before DH and I were engaged even, he got in a bad accident and had I been the passenger in the car at the time the cops said I would have died.

Best of luck to you, good luck to your FH. Really puts things in perspective, doesn't it? Life is so scary.

Yes, Kenny was without a doubt-- with him. The weirdest part-- the day after the accident was Kenny's birthday He is a guardian angel over both of us

Vinny is doing better-- he was able to walk and even took a car ride with me today! So that was nice-- I wanted him to get out of the house a little. He moves rrrreeeeeeaaaallllyyy slow but that's OK! I'm just glad he's alright-- and I think he will improve little by little each day.

I got into a pretty bad accident a few years ago and totaled my car... but coldstone cake batter ice cream with chunks of brownie and reeces peanut butter cups made me smile

mmmm omg coldstone cake batter is the best thing EVER-- good idea!! i will stop and get him some tomorrow on my way home from work-- omg cake batter with cookie dough, brownie and marshmallows-- HOLY CRAP SO GOOD-- we had that a lot when we were first dating... thanks so much!!! I got him to-go applebees tonight to cheer him up

I'm so glad he it doing well....I remember seeing our car after FH had a accident a few years ago and it was so emotional.
He was and is definitelly being watched over.
