We are looking for a place to have our rehearsal dinner. We were thinking of restaurants, but we would like to have a private room...not just a blocked off section of a room. We want to do a rehearsal dinner slideshow and give gifts to our bridal party and all that. We are inviting 70 people So I need some suggestions please ladies. We went to Novita tonight in Garden City, but they only have seating for 64 We don't want people to be crammed. Anyone also have a large RD bunch? Where are you having your dinners?

What about Prime in Huntington? My cousin had her shower there they had a nice room and a drop down projector screen.

How bout Rare650 in Syosset on Jericho Tpke. I would have booked it for my RD but they didnt have our date available. They have a gorgeous room!

Another bride actually suggested Rare650! I am in love with it just by the pics! LOL Do you happen to know anything about prices there?

Yes, its a little pricey cause its a steakhouse. I remember they had 3 packages (silver , gold and platinum or something like that) I cant remember exactly the prices but I wanna say they ranged from $60-$90 pp.
If that is too much, we had our engagement party at Jonathan's Restaurant which is on Jericho Turnpike in Garden City Park. The food there is american cuisine and has much more reasonable prices (like $30- $50 pp). And their room is pretty as well. And the food is GREAT! We've been eating there for years.
