X-post: Question about the number of registry gifts purchased before shower

So I have a slight feeling my shower may be today. Not 100% sure. My mom is supposed to be throwing a surprise party for my aunt and I thought that until the beginning of the week when she wouldn't let me help with anything and told me no need to come that early there wasn't much to do. So one or the other is happening today. Lol

My question is if you invited about 50 people to your shower about how many gifts were actually purchased off of your registry? I am sure all 50 will not be there at all.

Only 13 out of 100 have been bought on BBB and a few more have been bought off Macy's. I don't know typically how much comes off of a registry or not.

Not sure but I registered for 146 items at BBB and my guests at my e-party had a hard time buying anything off of it. Only three things were bought from the registry, out of that 1 had to be ordered in the store and mailed to us and one was bought online and mailed to us. Nothing was available in the stores so we ended up with giftcards from there.
