x-post: What would you do? job related
Re: x-post: What would you do? job related
I dont know what the jobs entail (your current part time vs working at home with DH)...but I think what I would do would be to continue to work part time and maybe help DH out part time too if you can (even if its without pay just to de-stress him). This may just be me, but personally I am not sure I would be able to work and live with DH. i know it sounds terrible, but i like coming to work and having my own thing going on. working together can get stressful and cause stress in the relationship imo
Re: x-post: What would you do? job related
My part time work has nothing to do with my career now. I am a voice actress and DH owns a talent agency. Right now I work at a doctor's office. I help out DH when I can but usually when I'm home I'm spending most of my time keeping our son occupied and out of DH's hair so he can work.
Re: x-post: What would you do? job related
I worked with DH before we got married and sometimes that does strain the relationship. I don't know the dynamic in ur relationship so I don't know if that's a factor. I also like $$ and feel like it helps out a lot. If you start making less, you may be stressed that you can't do what you need or want to do and start resenting your decision.
Re: x-post: What would you do? job related
I would continue to work part time just to have that alone time away from DH. If you had separate offices at home, would taking care of your son get in the way of work at home? would it be more stressful to have less money or would DH make more money if he had your help?
Re: x-post: What would you do? job related
That's the thing, I could be making less, just as much, or more. It all depends on how work is for the month.
