CH starts at 7pm and the reception starts at 8. there is also a hospitality hour starting at 6pm for anyone getting there early.

How would you word this on the reception card of the invitation?

Hmm wondering the same thing. I know i wanna put 15 earlier on the invite so noones late and misses Cocktail hour.
