So as if this wasn't already a bad enough few weeks, I think DH has food poisoning. I'm not sure if I need to take him to the doctor/ER or not. I looked it up online and everything said to wait a day or so to see how bad it gets but:

-he's thrown up like 4 times & crapped his brains out
-has stomach pains
-is lightheaded and dizzy
-has the chills and blue fingertips (he says they feel numb), but no fever

I think he got this from eating leftover Christmas dinner (ham)---I know it's a month later, but it was in the freezer for about 2-3 weeks so he thought it was still good.

Do you think I should wait another day or two before taking him to the doctor or take him now?

I would consider taking him to ER now. He's got to be extremely dehydrated and if its not stopping, not good....

Take him to the ER. He might be severely dehydrated and need to be on IV fluids. I would also want to have the numbness in the fingers checked out.

I would get him some gatorade and wait a day. That's just my opinion. There's a really nasty stomach virus going around right now. A few years ago I got a really bad one while in Florida. I waited a day, and had to go to the ER when I got home for an IV because I was so dehydrated. Just make sure he keeps drinking.

i would also say to wait 24 hours and then go to the doctor if symptoms don't subside, very important for him to try as hard as possible to stay hydrated during that time

How's he feeling now? It's a few hours later...

If you've waited it out this long, I agree with giving him Gatorade and waiting to see how he feels tomorrow. Fh had a stomach virus a couple of years ago and that's all he could do was wait it out. Good luck, hope he feels better!
