We are buying a fake tree...
We are torn on the lights.

I personally prefer just white lights but growing up we always had multicolored.

I have only had multi, but i do plan on taking over just one year on our tree and doing all white. Dh has been in charge of our tree for seven years and every year he puts more bulbs/decorations on it and it looks like someone puked tinsel out on it. But its dh's thing not mine IoI

clear...but then again, DH calls me the xmas nazi if the ornament isnt the right shade of blue of silver it cannot go on the tree.....i know.... im sick

I love color. I bpught a pre-lit multi color tree. Then I add on the LED bigger bulbs too !! I love the way it looks! Then one set of blinking!! Iam a crazy freak I have a very brigt tree and I love it!!!!!!!

i personally like multi colored lights, but maybe that's just the Christmas Child in me. heehee. The clear/white lights are beautiful too, but they remind me more of a Christmas Display in a shopping mall. The multi-colored just to me looks more family-like. lol. I dunno. Does that make sense? They're both pretty though, it's just whatever your personal taste & style is

This is hard..but I think I like plain white more..It looks more elegant

in the last few years i really like clear lights alone but DH loves the multicolor. I always let him win...

i grew up with both. my dad put like 2-3 strands of lights on, multi-colored, yellow and/or white. so i really like them all.

DH and i just had this discussion that he likes white b/c you get all the color with the ornaments. i still want a touch of colored lights though! i also want garland on the tree and DH isn't kee on that either. I'm hoping I can win one of these battles!

i vote multi!!
