Re: xmas tree decorations
Go to Fortunoff's they have the most beautiful theme trees, and a million ornaments, bows, lights etc.. I got engaged last december and we went to the cheesecake factory while we were waiting I made him take me to see the different trees...

Re: xmas tree decorations
the tree from the white house:
You can use white & silver balls, silver garland or silver pearl garland, white doves, white satin bows, white lights, make a white tree skirt, silver bells, and add white poinsettas, either artificial or real in or around the tree.
Swarvoski ornament (expensive but pretty)

Re: xmas tree decorations
The year we lost my Father my Mother didn't want to get a tree really. But knew we should so she said get a small one. So we got a smallish tree just put white lights, white bows, white pearls & a white dove on top!! Nothing fancy & the tree was just beautiful!!! (And it made my Mother very happy & the hurt just a little less)

Re: xmas tree decorations
My tree is decorated in silver and white! I just love that combination. I bought all of my ornaments at Macy's, Fortunoff, and Target. I have a lot of silver and white glass balls, crystal Waterford pieces, silver and white snow flakes, sliver and white ribbon, white lights, and white beads I tried to post a picture, but it's too large, and I can't figure out how to resize it. When I tried to convert it to a JPG file to send it to the resizer, my computer crashed. This picture thing continues to aggravate the S#$% out of me! OH MY GOODNES!!! IT WORKED!

Re: xmas tree decorations
Thats a great idea...Kmart and other cheap places like it has tons of ornaments.
I try to keep my tree very red but I collect ornaments so its not perfect.

Re: xmas tree decorations
Check out Martha Stewart's holiday decorations. She has everything color coordinated!
Also worth going to: Franks Nursery, Michaels, BJs & Costco.
Last year I ordered about 20 yards of crystal garland from Spectrum Home Furnishings. I was at Smith & Hawken yesterday and they were selling the same stuff for more than double the price!!!!
I won these on Ebay last night (to hang in my windows): Again, S&H wanted way more $$$ for them.
