Re: Size question for toddler Moms
a 2T should be fine, but keep in mind if you want to bundle him up with layers under that you may want to consider the 3T. I guess I really didn't help you after all

OK working on Heathers logic...
I bought Emma an 18 month sherpa coat for this winter... it fits her PERFECTLY even with her all bundled.
I also bought her a 24 month Gap Warmest Jacket which is HUGE on her. She can barely put her arms together. It reminds me about the kid on A Christmas Story.
BTW she is 19 months and wearing 18-24 month clothes

I bought Aidan a 2T coat this year -- He wears 18-24 months in clothes ( he is 18 months old) . The jacket just fits him. I would go wiht the 3T if it we me... The is not really a huge size difference-- and you will have on things underneath... Just a thought.

Okay, Paul is almost 21 mos. and he's wearing 24 mos. clothing, but some things are still a bit long on him. His jacket is 24 mos., and so is his snowsuit. I think I would buy Luke a 2T b/c of the length of the sleeves mostly. He'll definitely be wearing 24 mos. this summer, but keep in mind that they do not grow as fast after their first birthday, so you can get longer use out of things.

Re: Size question for toddler Moms
LOL Guess what I did? It was Macy's that I saw the coats on sale so I bought one in 2T and one in 3T. The woman told me I can retunr either whenever I want as long as I have the receipt. That's the good thing about a big store. The coats were originally $75.00 each and I got them for $17.50 each!!

Re: Size question for toddler Moms
I ALWAYS tend to buy bigger sizes, to play it safe...
I Just bought this jacket for JA yesterday at the GAP. GAP JACKET
$12.99 !!!!
I got it in beige in a 3T. JA is not big for his age, so it may be a little big on him, but since theyre always bundled up underneath, it might be better roomy.
As much as I prefer color as opposed to beige or white, I chose the beige over the navy. It just looked SOOO much nicer for some reason
and then knowing myself, I may find another one that I love and give this to someone in the family... it was a totally unexpected deal, so I grabbed it. and Liz, I also LOVE the return policies out there! 'any gap, any time'.
I already bought him navy ski pants (a few weeks ago) for next winter, so now Im set unless I fall in love with more stuff
