I think you should come up with suggestions for him and let him express them to his family. Do you know if his family is even willing to pay. Traditionally it is the grooms parents responsibility, but some parents cannot pay because of finacial reasons or just don't think they have to. I would first see where you stand. If they are willing to pay-I would do my own little researching and give him a list of places with their prices and tell him that you are just trying to be helpful. Good luck
