I am hoping for the same number of people but I invited ! am inviting 100 and my mother and FMIL says she thinks everyone on the list will show up. SO it depends on how close to the immediate family is. We really did not invite any friends from work or anything. Evryone will be family.

I went in waves that we were going to be under...then we were going to be over...back and forth...

don't stress too much...the worst case senario...you are a few people over...and they have to squoosh another table in...it can be done...

They key number in this poll is 20% (of course plus or minus 3-5 percent)

I've actually been thinking about this alot lately. Our list is 235 and we have to GTY 175. I am still worried that we wont cover our GTy b/c i know already of either the No's on the list or people that we are inviting with guests might not bring guests. This gives room for 60 'NO'S'.......u think that is ok???

We invited 220 and we had 144 say yes...142 actaully showed up!

I had 20% decline.

I will tell you- YOU THINK everyone will show up, but they don't, you usually get your no's at the end, and it is people you are so surprised at.
