If she wants a trial and it can arranged, let her do it. She's concerned that it will look good and that's what will make you both happy.
As for the makeup thing- don't sweat it. I am sure she will look beautiful doing her own makeup. The focus will be on you anyway

If it's going to be a pain in the butt to do it here, tell her to go where she lives so she can find out how long it will really take and bring some pictures of what she wants.
