I don't see anything wrong with it!!! There is no 'Invitation Etiquette Police' going 'She didn't use raised printing... arrest her!!!' It's your day, do whatever the hell you want!!! Plus, I think the creativity does make up for it.

Personally I think people who apperciate your creativity more.. I don't think raised lettering is a neccesity at all... And it will be nicer to keep as a memory for yourself to show your kids... thats just me though let us know what you decide
