Re: Are you doing Matches, napkins, stirrers
At first I thought I might do the matches and put them by the bar for the smokers, but when the no smoking law went into effect, I scratched that idea.

This is just my opinion but I don't want to spend the money on these things...they seem a little insignificant to ME. But on the other hand I do agree that they do add a personal touch. I for one like the matches because I love candles - so perfect. Napkins I'm not a fan of nor stirrers but that's ME. I hope I didn't offend you - 'm not against the idea - it's just not something I'm going to look into.

Matches are a cute idea, and VERY inexpensive. I think it's something that everyone can use and like. I prefer the books though, they are more classy. I would see it as something in addition to the actual favor though.

I love the stirrers. Eveyone in my family has them from my parents & my aunts weddings. I didn't think they made them anymore. If the do , I'd love to get them. Have you seen anyplace that does them?
I don't think I'd do all the others, its too much, but maybe matches if I can't get stirrers.

I am a personalization FREAK and the little things are what makes the day special becasue everyone knows you did not HAVE to do it but wanted to, so you could make your day special. I am also thinking of doing personalized playing cards. Another durable favor.

matches...i love em! that and 80% of my guest list are smokers. and they will be smoking at the wedding, not inside, but my room comes with a terrace...to it'll come in handy for them.

I might do these, from ebay, although neither of us smoke, because they're so cute!

My FI wanted matches, he collects matchbooks wherever we go. But I don't like the idea of any of that stuff, so I put my foot down! We are not doing any of it.

Doing matchboxes because we are having votives on the table surrounding CP's, so I figured they would be handy in case any go out.

we did not do matches, b/c you cannot smoke in the catering hall...we did do bar napkins, monogrammed finger towels for the bathrooms, and monogrammed take-home baggies for our viennese. I got them through the hall, though. I don't know the name of the vendor, but they were very reasonably priced. I think it totalled $95 for 100 of each.

We are putting the notepads that look like matches as part of each guests table setting, (putting it on th tables cause if I put them by the bar or the like, some guests will take more than one and some wont end up with any).
