We also registered at Macy's but once we started to figure out the percent we got back all the math ends up to not really being worth it. My FH crunched the numbers (math geek). Good Luck with it though!!!![]()

MACY'S marks up the items you will find on the registry more than Fortunoff or Michael C Fina. I used to be a buyer for MACY'S and learned about markups for every department (jewelry is the worst- even when they have 50% off plus another 10% off - they are still making a lot of money!!)
I compared all of my items between MACY'S and Fortunoff and Fortunoff's prices were much better. I'd rather not mess around with rebates. There are usually so many rules attached that it rarely works out as well as they promise. I got that card too - threw it out right away.

Enrollig easy I did it over the phone,,so I hope people buy from macy's!!!
I read it carefully - it's 10% back on any purchases you make off your own registry.
What's the point if you can only get rewards for things you're expecting other people to buy? You get the 10% off after you're married anyway, and I doubt they combine it to be 20%.

I was mistaken. It 'includes' anything in your registry. Here's the info from the card they sent me:
'We are so pleased that you have chosen to register at Macy's. Starting March 1st, we are introducing a new Bridal Club and you are invited to enroll.
Receive 10% back for every purchase you make on your Macy's card. This includes registry gift items purchased in-store, online or by phone from the day you enroll in Macy's Bridal Club through your wedding date. If you don't already have a Macy's card, we'll be happy to open one for you.

I am part of this! It has been available in the New England states for over a year..it just started out here in June I think....
You get a monthly statement, which is nice...so you can see how much cash you will get...its available to you 90 days after your wedding,....We only had a few thins purchased off our registry for our E party, and we have $11 already!! We need to update our registry anyways, but its fun to see it grow!

I don't see any reason NOT to enroll. It's an extra few bucks after the wedding! Yay!
