I just did it...about 3.5 weeks before the wedding, but I'm sure I'm the latest you'll hear! I took care of all of the arrangements, but FH's parents are officially 'hosting' since we'll use a portion of their wedding gift to pay for it.

My FI's family is paying for the RD because we told that it is tradition that they pay for the RD. We booked the restaurant in January for our Sept wedding.

We just booked ours. My FI parents are paying..they insisted and arranged it all so that was one less thing to stress about.

We haven't finalized any plans yet. My FILs are paying for it, but I'm doing all of the planning.

we planned it (since they waited too long) , inlaws paying for it.
we booked it last month. (3 months before wedding)

I was felt totally wierd about asking FILs about RD - so FH talked to them about it and the next day FMIL called me to talk about it. I didn t like the place that she chose - so I told her I would do research and get back to her about where I wanted to have it

FILs are paying for it. We didn't have to ask them, FMIL went on theknot.com herself to look up the responsibilities of grooms parents.

We hope to finalize a location when we come to NY next weekend.
