you can search the area...(the MLS) and then even find realtors if you want to email or call...

I was going to say realtor.com too. It is a great site for looking up real estate, even out of the area.

YEAH....What info can you give me.
Real estate costs, crime, area points of interst, shopping, etc.
BEACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Real estate costs are in the millions. Juno is a very small ocean community. it is really only a couple of blocks long. if you go west of A1A you can get cheaper places but it not really considered Juno. Beach is right there and totally accesable to everyone at no charge. Nothing much to do on the beach though - no shops or restaurants but it is really peaceful. As far as shopping in concerned we go to the Palm Beach Garden's Mall (it has a macys and a bloomies) it is on PGA Blvd about 15 south of juno. There is also City Place in West Palm Beach. Its a section of Rivera Beach that has been totally redone. Its a big outside mall. It is great - it has shopping (Pottery Barn, Macys, Restoration Hardware, William Sonoma, Barnes and Nobles) Really cool restaurants and bars. A hugh movie theatre and a reg theatre. Thats on Oakachobee (sp?) south of Juno also. There are some good resturants closer to Juno especially on the Intercoastal that you can take your boat to and dock right there while you go in for dinner.

Re: how do I research out-of-state real estate (FL)
I'm moving to Palm Bay in August which is by Melbourne/Sebastian area....
There are jobs in Vero Beach/Melbourne and even Orlando which is about 35 minute drive from Palm Bay.
The school districts in Brevard County (Palm Bay - Vero Beach) are EXCELLENT!! One of the top rated schools the past 3 yrs in a row and the crime rate is very low.
Driving someplace that is 45 minutes away is nothing compaired to LI driving! You dont have the heavy traffic that we have here.
Here is the website for Jupiter, FL chamber of Commerce.. you should find all your looking for here...

thanks! I am open to locations,,,but the current job of interest is in juno beach.
You can check out the local newspaper www.floridatoday.com and do a search for jobs..
Orlando & West Palm Beach are the 2 major areas that have a lot of job opportunities as well..
Good Luck!! I cant wait for FL living!!

I'm also moving to FL this summer. We're moving to Broward County (not sure where yet). I have a teaching job already, but DH is looking for a job.

Re: how do I research out-of-state real estate (FL)
We are moving to Broward County in Jan (looking at Ft lauderdale, dania beach & hollywood) Some areas close to Juno are Jupiter were my mom just got a condo. Prices are reasonable west of A1A. West Jupiter. West Palm (about 15 - 20 mins southwest) Royal Palm (all my cousin go to school here and it seems to be OK) about 30 mins from Juno (west & south) Palm Beach Gardens (15 mins south) or Palm Beach (20-30 mins south). Boca Raton is about 45 mins away and I heard they have good schools. Seems like a big family communty. You just want to stay away from Rivera Beach! Ft Lauderdale is at least an hour away.
