I love that place and looked into the back room for our rehearsal dinner. Here are the details:
It's a one room little house. It will hold MAX 30 people. And really, 30 might be a little tight. I think that it had 5 small tables with 6 seats at each. There is also a bar in the room. It's really cute, but it's small, and there's no way around that.
A friend had an Anniversary party for her parents there about a year ago. Don't quote me on this, but I think that it was 30 people, beer/wine/soda, dinner (buffet style) and dessert for just about $1000.
Let me know if you need more info.

Re: Sayville Inn
hmmm... what else can I tell you...
Well, the food is FABULOUS! My family and I eat at the restaurant whenever I'm in town (I live in California). The place is really cute- VERY homey. The house in the back is cute too, just small. But as long as you don't have a ton of people, it's fine. I really wanted to have mine there, but we're going to have closer to 40 people and we won't all fit.
I'll tell you that my friend who had her parents' party there is VERY picky :) and they all loved it. It will be nice and private.
You'll love it- trust me!
