there should also be a READ ME file on the disc where that has all the seriel numbers and stuff on it.

serial number is usually located either on box or hard copy manuel. you probally won't be able to if you don't have that infomation

i have the serial number, I can't register it because it is already registered to someone else.

If the person who owns it only has a one user license and has already registered it, I don't think there is any way you can load it on another computer.

I have Quark 6 on my computer at work and wanted to load it on my home computer so instead of staying late I could work on some of the projects at home, but it wouldn't let me register it at home since the license was already in use on my office computer.

Without registration Quark only runs a demo version.

Let me know if you find a work around!

oh, i missed that part...you should be able to enter serieal number but not regestier...there is usally an option to send later

or

get info from orginal person, name/address blah.... and use that
