FI, GM and FFIL are getting their tuxedos from Feldman-Equire in Lynbrook. Mike was wonderful to work with.

Re: HELP... In search of a Tuxedo Place.
I went to Town and Country in Wantagh and it did not seem like they had ANY designer tuxes. My FH said they all felt like cardboard. we asked for different designers and they said, 'this is the tux we use. we went to sal's in massapequa on broadway and he had all different designers. i would cross of town and country. Re: HELP... In search of a Tuxedo Place.
My fiance got his tux at S & S in Hicksville. He has rented tuxes there in the past and bought his new tux from there last month. And my brother just rented a tuxedo from them for our wedding- great prices!! They are really great to work with and throw in a bunch of things when you buy a tux. My fiance's mom actually found a coupon for the store and we were able to get an even better price. I would definitely check them out! My only recommendation is not to go around prom season- it will be a zoo! I would recommend going early during the week if you can- otherwise, you may have to wait a while.

We used Elite Tux on Old Country Road. Which they have now moved to Franklin Square on Hempstead Tkpe and changed their name to 1800Tuxedo. You can meet with at the bridal expo at the Marriot in Uniondale. They give out great deals at the shows. Our Tux's cost $135 and included everything. Pat was really nice and so was everyone else.

I heard great things about S&S tux in Hicksville--I went there and did see anything that I liked, but my limo guy recommended the place and I have heard that people like it there

Dante's Tuxedos, Old Country Road, Westbury
This is where FI & GM are getting their tuxedo's from. My first impression was great. The women there helped us so much in picking the right tuxedo and gave us ideas in all price ranges. Very good customer service if you ask me

If Feldman's Tuxedo is the same as Feldman Esquire, I've used them before. They were awesome, and very helpful. They have a store in Merrick too. Thats the one i used, and probably use them when i get married.

Re: HELP... In search of a Tuxedo Place.
The guy at S&S told me that people line up forever for tuxedos during prom time which is basically now through June. And he said that early June is really busy with weddings in addition to the proms. I am sure that it's like this at all tuxedo places so try to go early in the morning if you can. If you can go during the week, even better!

We were there on Monda, picked the tuxes and the man was very helpful and their prices were good. I believe they are a vendor on here as well.

Re: HELP... In search of a Tuxedo Place.
We used Feldman in Merrick and the one in Lynbrook. They were awesome. We did not have any problems what so ever. They were extremely helpful to DH who was totally clueless when he walked in. All the guys tuxes were clean and fit perfect and the prices were very reasonable. We checked with a few places and they were by far the cheapest!!
ETA we had 11 people getting tuxes including our dads. The tuxes were $100 each for everything including shoes and we got DH's, and two groomsmen tuxes for free!!
