I emailed the my videographer three days ago for information I need by tomorrow and no reply!! And I don't have the luxury of making phone calls at work as much (everyone hearing me constantly yapping about the wedding is what I try to avoid).

It really is and it leaves a bad impression. I've been in touch with some people for a particular service - one never responds but the other has been really great about getting back to me.

I just want to hear an answer - even it means saying 'I don't know' or 'I can't help you' - it's better than being ignored. This way I can move on or get things moving.

not all people are email driven, it's easier to get some by phone... i am an email person, so it's been annoying for me, but i learned not to discount a vendor just because he/she doesn't get back to me via email...
