Re: BC Patch??
I used it for two days but had to take it off because I became SO unbelievably nauseous from it! I don't do well with hormones.

Ditto - a friend uses it and has no problems.

Re: BC Patch??
I had considered it and my OB/GYN told me there is not much of a convenience difference between the patch and the shot (which is what I am on now--that I love BTW) Had you ever thought about the shot?

It all depends on your body. I haven't gotten a period (which in my line of work is VERY convenient also) and every time I go see the Gyno she says it's no big deal everything is looking good. I did get off the shot for about 6 months about a year ago and start the pill and just found myself forgetting FH always having to remind me. SOooo to answer your questions yes I don't get a period. I do get spotting every once in a while and I still get PMS!! :)

Re: BC Patch??
I've been on it for almost a year & LOVE it. I used to be on the pill and switched. I had trouble remembering to take my pill every day. With the patch you only have to switch once a week. The only thing that I find rather annoying is that it can sometimes leave sticker-ish stuff on your skin. SOMETIMES it feels like there is a sticker on your body (basically there is), and that can be annoying, but the majority of time, I forget it's even there!

Re: BC Patch??
I have been using it for about two years also. I love it! I had so many problems with the pills, breakthrough bleeding, spotting, missed periods, I can go on and on. When the patch came out my doctor immediately recommended it and I haven't looked back since. I have only had it come off once or twice and I run and shower twice a day usually. When we go on vaca I bring a couple of extra's just in case, but have never had to use them. Plus, you don't have to remember to take the pill every day. Would never go back to the pill, too many problems.

I've been using it for only several weeks. It took my body some getting used to (headaches, soreness, nausea), but I think it will be okay. It has not fallen off.

Re: BC Patch??
I used it for a year (just came off - TTC) - and I LOVED it! It never fell off even swimming or in the hot tub. My period was very predictable and very light (sorry if TMI), the only thing was that it itched a little - but I got used to it - It was better than forgetting to take the BC pill
