Re: Need ideas on cost and vendors for Live Ceremony Music
I am using Counterpoint. I found them from gigmasters.com (thanks to NSGRAHAM). They are charging me $125 per hour, per instrument. We chose to get the string trio.

Re: Need ideas on cost and vendors for Live Ceremony Music
My ceremony is 1/2 hour. They are also playing for 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after for a totoal of 1 hour. Prices are by the hour. There is no charge for number of songs. The person I am talking to is Christina Sprague. Her number is 404-8003. Her email address is [email protected]. There also may be a travel charge depending on the location. If you email her she will get back to you with all the info.
Also try gigmasters.com. You put in your iformation and then companies will send you quotes and prices.

I found a sting quartet who will charge $540 for an hour. Their website is www.sonicstringquartet.com.

we used Sterling Music Ensembles, they were 600 for a flute, violin and a cello, THEY WERE AWESOME, their music was amazing and they really did a beautiful job! They were great to work with and very professional, I would use them again in a second!!!! Well worth every penny!!!

Re: Need ideas on cost and vendors for Live Ceremony Music
I am using Counterpoint also. (someone referred them to me).
I contacted the ceremony vendors on LIW that offer trios and quartets. Most of them charge about $200/instrument per hour. One vendor was very expensive ($300/musician per hour). If you go into the vendor section, they will e-mail you quotes.
I chose Counterpoint because I felt that they offered the most for the money.
Good luck

We used Encore for a string trio....I think the cost was about $800 and that included 1/2 as guests were arriving...the ceremony and the entire cocktail hour. They were great!!
