We are not. my wedding is in 16 days and I only have 168 people coming (min 180). Oh well!

fh and i agreed early on if people didnt come and we didnt make min we wouldnt worry about it - the place is what we wanted and we couldnt think of anywhere else we'd rather have it

i set my minimum pretty low for this reason...

min: 80
target: 100
max (we want to pay for): 125

so far we have 179 on the guest list. 1/2 of these people are from OOT so we know many will not come. we sent save-the-dates and some said 'we plan on being there', some say 'we'll try' and others said nothing.

We didn't make ours...but it didn't matter on the big day. All of our close family and friends were there to celebrate with us!

we're not making ours. But we ended up not being as low as we thought we would because FH invited some work people, and a cousin i didn't htink was coming now is. We're still appx 30 people below minimum, but we're ok with it now.

But i agree with the save the date problem. we sent them out, and people STILL booked vacations for that weekend!!! (booked AFTER they got STD's and said to us 'Oh we wouldn't miss it for the world!' such BS!!!!)

I am intentionally trying to come in just shy of my minimum. I can't afford to pay one penny more so I rather come in under to allow for 'surprise' guests.

Max: 180
Guestlist: 240
Target: 170

We always wanted a small wedding. At first I was happy with just 50. But the hall is a minimum of 100.

i don't know from the list that i have so far my min is supposed to be 115 so far i am okay the only suggestion that i have for you is that you should try to invite the other people that you were probably not able to invite because you were so focused on inviting the one group of people that you thought would be there for you ..............am i wrong or does it make a little sense ......hope that i was able to give some advice here..............
