I made an awesome krispy kreme bread pudding this weekend - if you are not watching you weight. It was a hit !!!! It was on the food network web site Paula Dean.

I also have a great pasta salad - that one is actually mine.

Let me know if you want it

I am glad you found it - I had to take care of something at work and ran off without replying ! Sorry !

Just two tips - mine burnt on the bottom in an hour. I would keep my eye on it at about 30min. keep checking to see if it is golden or burnt on the sides.

Also for the sauce - it really just needs a good splash of rum - mine didnt cook off and I put to much and I got my family drunk on the sauce. Not that they minded

Oooo, Dirt Pie! EVERYONE loves when I make this, and you can serve it so cute, too!

Go to Target or somewhere and buy a plastic beach pail and shovel, put them through the dishwasher or wash them really well.....

Dirt Pie:

2 containers Cool Whip
2 packages Instant Chocolate Pudding
2 Packages Oreos
2 Packages Gummy Worms

Make the Pudding according to directions then mix in a bowl with All of the cool whip. It will make what looks like a mousse. Crush all of the oreos in a food processor, or blender, and mix HALF of the crushed cookies into the cool whip/pudding mix. Now comes the pail. Cover the bottom of the pail with a layer of crushed cookie, then add a layer of the pudding mix, add some of the gummy worms, then another layer of crushed cookie. Keep layering until you reach the top. Cover the top with the rest of the crushed cookies and have some gummy worms sticking out of the 'dirt'. Refrigerate for 30 minutes so it can firm up a bit. Serve with the shovel

EVERYTIME I make this people eat it so fast I never get any

Hi Jenny

I had an appetizer last week at Dave & Busters that I loved:Margherita Pizza Dip I would use bottled sauce if you don't have time to prepare proper sauce (sorry Italians! But it didn't taste homemade at D&B's anyway...)

I also found the recipe for Serendipity's Frrrrozen Hot Chocolate (first time it's been made public!) but it's in a newspaper so I have to find it and type it in.

Here's a simple marinade for steaks, chicken and burgers.

In a plastic container thinly coat the bottom and sides with olive oil.

put in your meat

fill with Jack Daniels (can use Tequilla for chicken and seafood) until most of meat if covered

cover the rest with whorstichire (sp) sauce

sprinkle in salt and pepper, and paprika to taste.

Cover and let the concoction sit in the fridge as long as possible before cooking (overnight is optimal).

Enjoy.

Yummy crowd pleaser great bbq dessert...

You layer all of the following in a deep clear bowl things...serve with big spoon...It is chocolate Explosion (or my brothers' affectionately call it chocolate slop).

Bake and allow to cool one chocolate cake (from package is fine!).

Make this first layer - break to fit bottom of bowl.

Layer of instant chocolate pudding.

Layer of chopped up chocolate bars (I use combo of milky way, snickers, and 3Musketeers - typically).

Layer of mini marshmellows.

Repeat layers of pudding, candy and marshmellows.

Top with a layer of cool whip and decorate top with mini-chocolate chips!

Keep in fridge til serving!
Alsways a hit!
