We are having a greek band and a DJ for the american music. Hopefully the music will end up being 50/50.

We are also doing a greek band and a DJ. We are using Mylos...it's a husband and wife team. Wife sings and husband does the DJ part. Thay are awesome. We are doing 50/50 too.

How much did you pay for the greek band? I didn't even think of that. My dj just said to give him a list of songs and if he doesn't have them, to get a cd with the songs on it. What other traditions are you doing for hte wedding?

There is also a dj co. called bravo sounds and they specialize in various ethnic music. They have greek/american dj's. I thought they were really good.
We're using the VIP's for the band and their DJ.

We are using Mylos for both band and DJ. We are paying $5,000 for everything and they are playing for an additional hour since we extended our wedding reception (5 hours without cocktail hour). They are awesome!! If you need the contact info let me know.

I'm having a cd made of about 3 or 4 greek songs. We are also doing a thing called 'Around the World', which gets everyone into a circle and the dj plays music from each nationality. like for instance, they would play the Irish gig and all the irish people would get into the center and do their dance and so on. it's really fun and it get's everyone involved. my fh is half polish and half italian and I am all greek.
