Will she be in the area any time prior to the baby being born? If so, I would make some sort of shower here since your family and her in laws live here. If not, I imagine one of her close friends in Arizona will make a shower for her.

Could you have one of her friends prganize something with your inout and help and then you can travel there to her? I'm planning my sister in laws shower right now and I can tell you that it is sooo very exciting, don't miss out on the fun of welcoming your niece/nephew. Or maybe you can do a shower where you organize a gift giving party, where everyone just send gifts
