I'm on LI. I'd like to do fire island too

if you want the bar/club thing there is Long Beach...that is always fun..

during the day...what about catching a planet ride and the planetarium
During the day you can walk down in the villages..Northport, Huntington or Port Jeff?

The aquarium is fun too!

I'd gather up my friends and make them come with me skydiving! It's a very empowering and satisfying feeling! I highly recommend it.
