There are many vendors who work with others until they can open businesses of their own. I would not be nervous with any vendor because of how long they have been in business. As long as you see their actual work, you discuss the contract and get everything in writing and you love the way they are, you have nothing to worry about. At least that's my opinion. Everyone deserves a chance to have someone have faith in them. And as long as they have something to show you about their work....why worry?
ETA>>>I'd also check BBB to see for any complaints. If you do not notice anything shady, I'd not worry either. Some new businesses tend to have better business practices than those which been in business for many years sometimes. You can't really go by that.

Re: concerns about booking with a newer vendor
When I first looked at Duet I had similair concerns. However my mother brought up a good point 'Everyone starts somewhere' . Duet has recently expanded into the city which shows great growth. I think you should judge them on their performance and if they can provide you with what you are looking for. Good Luck!

I definately agree with this. Just because they haven't been around too long doesn't mean that they aren't going to stay around for a long time!

I think you should book on quality not longevity.. older doesn't necessarily mean better.. If you like Duet GO FOR IT

Its your right to be nervous, but I've never heard a bad review from DUET. Check out the official thread for yourself. I put all the reviews, comments, questions (except the ones like what is their phone number, I met with them).

I'd go for it if I were you!
I would've booked with them myself if they weren't already taken for my date!

Re: concerns about booking with a newer vendor
I've heard nothing but praise about them. I think anyone who books any vendor should always be a little concerned....new business or not. I've heard horror stories from even the most reputable vendor.
