I love mine and have used one since I was a newlywed back in the 70's. I love coming home to a meal that is done and waiting for dinner to be served. I also have been know to put it on overnight (cause I don't have time in the AM) to prepare. I then just have to reheat. Corned Beef is better done this way cause it slices better cold.

How easy are they to use? Um, if you can unpackage meat and measure liquids then you can use a crockpot I lovvvvvvve making pot roast in the crock pot - it comes out so tender you can cut it with a fork.

It's great. I only used mine for the first time last week and after I washed it there was a big CRACK in my CROCK pot, so I have to exchange it. It had to be a defect. But I love it, it is SO easy!

I have an oval Rival crockpot - I think it's a 6 qt. and it's digital. All you have to do is press one button either one, two, or three times for the cooking time (low, high, warm). Totally idiot proof!

I make porkroasts in mine! I actually have several recipes if yuo are interested!!
And I do stew a lot in it!! I put everything in the pot at night, put in the fridge, take it out when I get up so it's not so cold, then turn it on when I am leaving!!
