Re: Question for my friend's congested baby
My son was a very congested baby. Actually he still is. At first he was congested because he was a C-section baby, but after that, who knows why. He always seemed to have a cold. There really isn't much you can do. Caiden slept in his bouncer for a while too. I really don't know what they can do? They can ask the doctor, but I think because of the age you can't really do anything.

Re: Question for my friend's congested baby
Wow, he was a c-section baby too. Did you ask the doctor anything? She has given him nasal spray, but doesn't like doing that. And she feels bad putting the pacifier in his mouth, cause then he can't breathe at all.

Ok is your friend breastfeeding? someine eating certain foods can make the baby conjested.. Jillian seems to soound conjested all the time.. when she is bad we either use the asperator or we put her in a really hot steam bath.. that always seams to do the trick... but i wouls have her ask the ped.. they always seem to have the correct answer...

Thanks. She was breastfeeding for 5 days, then couldn't do it anymore.

Re: Question for my friend's congested baby
Emma had the same c/s congestion. I just made sure she was propped up while sleeping. There is nothing to do about it. If I remember correctly it cleared up on its own about 4-5 months.

Re: Question for my friend's congested baby
I felt bad with the pacifier too. They don't learn that they can breath out of their mouth for a while. His congestion didn't clear up until 4-5 months old. Then it turned into a cold thing all the time. He's in daycare fulltime so it doesn't help any.
