Re: where can I get inexpensive snorkles for cruise?

When I went to Mexico recently I went snorkeling - we bought them right there and they werent used - they were prepackaged in plastic and brand new. The only things that were rented were the vests and fins.

I'm sure the cruise would do the same thing but if yuore still worried I would try a sports store like Sports Authority or even Costco and possibly Target sells that stuff I think.

The price of the snorkeling gear when I went to Mexico was included in the whole package of snorkeling....the mouthpiece and tube was brand new and came in individually wrapped packages - not rinsed out.

But you could find cheaper stuff here probably.

The tube/mouthpiece that I purchased was mine to keep and I used it in shallow water later in my trip.

The vests/fins/goggles are rented but try that Sporting store in Roosevelt Field Galyans Sports

Yes the tube and mouthpiece are connected - you wear it underwater so that you are able to breathe. Have Fun!!!
